Joanna McClanahan (aka Ramblin’ Mama) is a writer, editor, humorist, stay-home prisoner mom, meme maker, aspiring novelist, and chronic procrastinator.

She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two small children. Her likes include wasting time on social media, getting time away from her kids, and avoiding people she recognizes at the grocery store.

She began blogging at the end of 2014 as an attempt to retain her sanity while raising her tiny captors kids. Her writing has since been published on Scary Mommy, Sammiches & Psych Meds, MockMom, Beyond Your Blog, and YourTango. She even had an article featured on TIME.com, which she immediately let go to her head.

She writes jokes, tweets, and memes, which have been shared by Scary Mommy, BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, Huffington Post Parents, Parent’s Magazine, Babble, and TODAY’s Funniest Parents.

She also works as an editor at MockMom (the satirical division of Sammiches & Psych Meds), which is a perfect fit for her since she loves satire and is always silently correcting everyone’s grammar anyway. She does freelance editing as well.

If you are interested in hiring her for any of the aforementioned things, or just want to tell her how hilarious she is, feel free to email her at ramblinma@gmail.com. You can also find her on Facebook, Twitter (@ramblinma), and Instagram (@therealramblinma).
